In this section of the book the character's thoughts and feelings changed a lot. At the beginning of this section the characters of Connor, Risa, and Lev meet and discover that they are all running away from the same thing-being unwound. They work as a team to scam innocent civilians for canned food and clothing. Along their journey they hit a few road blocks. Some of these road blocks include, gaining one extra member for their group- a baby, having to hide from the cops in a girls restroom at an unknown high school, and being chased by the cops in the school parking lot. Near the end of this section in the book, the character of Lev chooses to betray both Connor and Risa by saving himself and reporting them to the cops. Another important event that happend at the end of this section is that Risa and Connor start to aquire romantic feelings for eachother. A question that i asked myself was, I wonder if they will become a couple if they get out of this alive?

THis book sounds whack! The whole concept of being unwound is so weird and alien to me seeing how well children are treated by adults in our society. Where did the baby that joined there group come from?

ReplyDeleteI am reading Unwind too and it has been a really good book. I am a little farther then you so I know what happens but it gets really good so I encourage you to keep reading. I have a question though, what are your thoughts on Lev? I had very mixed feelings on him.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the characters are adapting to their envirnoment to survive by getting food and clothing. I was just wondering, how did they get the baby?
